Aerial Advertising is public advertising using airplanes, helicopters or balloons.
This type of advertising usually involves towing a long banner behind an airplane and passing over a large crowd of people. The banner contains a brief statement about the product or the logo of the company. When this is towed with multiple passes over a sporting event, beach, or other place where thousands of people are gathered, a wide variety of people are able to read it and remember the message. The message will often contain the website where more information can be obtained about the company.
Sky writing is also a form of aerial advertising.
